It is with great pleasure that I announce the continuation of an American investment started a century ago — the launch of an innovative business and medical center in Delnice for strategic and operational cooperation among international teams.
Our focus is on labour market challenges, in partnership with employers, the healthcare industry, decision-makers and politicians.
GORSKI MEDICAL CENTER – ORIENTED TOWARDS FAMILIES
Aimed at employers, healthcare professionals and local communities, within an international context.
It serves as guidance and support in organizing the everyday life of modern families, strengthening family relationships and protecting mental health.
It provides lasting support for people balancing demanding jobs with family care, for singles, and for those facing challenges of illness or old age.
AMERICAN BUSINESS CENTER – CONNECTING AND INVESTMENTS
A branch of our Vienna headquarters, dedicated to connecting investors and initiatives for the revitalization of historic town centers and rural areas.
Our goal is to build a recognizable brand through a unique physical location — a symbol of quality, expertise and trust.
Our mountain location will not only be a space for delivering future-oriented services, but also a center for education, networking and professional support for the medical community.
OUR ROOTS AND CONCRETE PLANS
We continue the realization of the American investment, showing through our own example how to develop 300 + 100 m² of space and achieve revenues several times higher than the property value within the first three years.
Through the American Business Center, we pay tribute to the emigrants of Amerikanska Street, especially to my great-grandfather Nikola Kajfeš, who sailed for America in 1926 and invested in Delnice with the money he earned in the Pittsburgh steel mills.
The Gorski Medical Center is based on the location of my medical practice founded in 1991, continuing the medical tradition of my family and paying tribute to my uncle, Dr. Josip Kajfeš. The same location was once home to a district epidemiologist before World War II, and to a dental office in the 1960s.
The business story began with my great-grandmother Antonija, who managed the American investment, a general store and a tavern in Amerikanska Street. Later, the premises hosted an insurance company, a video rental and a notary public office, making the building known even beyond the Gorski Kotar region.
